New riders
There are 3 main elements to the experience, namely:

  • A session in the classroom that covers basic bike safety, clothing and accessories
  • A session to give you an introduction to a motorcycle or scooter, controls and getting
the feel of the bike, a supervised > ride, assessment and a clothing discussion
  • Then a concluding session which is based on the structure of training and license routes,
how to book training, dealerships, bike ranges and then any questions and answers.

Getting back on two wheels
Perhaps you once owned a bike and are starting to feel the itch again?
Well, this session is here to just refresh your mind and get you back into it again.
A classroom session that will cover fact finding, - like your level of experience
and motorcycle safety.

Concluding in rider training, availability of ERS and other courses, bike ranges,
dealerships and questions and answers.

If you have a provisional licence issued at 16 years - make sure that it includes
Category A entitlement and CBT.

What happens on the day
The sessions will be conducted by experienced instructors around the country.
To ensure you get the most out of your experience every instructor will be restricted
to a maximum of 2 riders per session.

The sessions are to run for about an hour maximum.

There will be a meet and greet, safety briefing, introduction to the bikes, moving
off and stopping exercises, changing gear, slow control, assessment, return bikes to
the parking area and ending off with a debrief. All of this will happen at the Training
Centre and some off road locations.
